Julia Berkeley is an English American singer songwriter. Born in Africa she was raised predominently in London, UK and currently lives in Ojai, California. The transmission that moves through her voice is the flowering of her dedication to the pursuit of Truth and embodiment of love, through yoga, conscious dance, and a variety of healing practices.

Music has always been a passion for Julia but it wasn’t until she found Kirtan, a call and response chanting practice that clears the mind and opens the heart, that singing entered her life. In fact up until that point she truly believed that she couldn’t sing. 

Magically this practice opened both her heart and her voice.

Already surprised by this unfolding she then found herself in a recording project with the amazing Brothers Koren, inspiring and talented brothers formerly signed to Interscope/Universal Records who toured with Coldplay, Pink and Rod Stewart. They now help artists find their voice. 

Julia's collaboration with the Brothers Koren has birthed three albums into the world. Embody Love, Aham Prema and River of Love are medicine for mind, body and soul. They offer a transmission of peace and comfort bringing you home to the sanctuary of your own heart.
